We are looking for an experienced landing page designer to redesign and optimise a tutoring platform homepage for the UK student and parent audience. The goal is to improve trust, clarity, and conversions, making it simple for users to book trial lessons and find tutors.
The ideal candidate has experience designing high-conversion pages for education, student services, service marketplaces, or online learning platforms. Understanding of the UK audience is essential.
Responsibilities
• Redesign the homepage with a clear value proposition and user flow
• Create a modern, clean, friendly, and trustworthy design style
• Highlight key benefits such as affordability, quality tutors, results, and flexibility
• Build layouts that appeal to both parents and students
• Develop strong calls to action and clear sections for services, tutor quality, reviews, and pricing
• Add trust-building elements including testimonials, ratings, credentials, stats, and guarantees
• Create mobile-first responsive layouts
• Deliver wireframes and final design in Figma (or similar)
• Optional: assist with front-end implementation
Requirements
• Portfolio of high-conversion landing page designs
• Experience in education or service-based platforms preferred
• Strong UI/UX and conversion funnel understanding
• Comfortable designing for UK user behaviour and expectations
• Skilled in visual hierarchy, readability, and emotional trust triggers
• Ability to deliver clean, simple, and structured layouts
Nice to Have
• Experience with ed-tech or tutoring platforms
• Familiarity with booking flows and marketplace design
• Knowledge of conversion optimisation and funnel tracking
• Ability to create simple UI components and micro-illustrations
Deliverables
• Two wireframe concepts
• Final desktop and mobile designs in Figma
• Suggested headline and messaging structure
• CTA variants and user journey strategy
• Style guide for colours, buttons, icons, and fonts
• Handover files ready for development
