Hi all,

I am looking for someone who can design a site that on the surface looks like a normal art shop where customer\'s can come on and browse and purchase artwork using their debit/credit cards. The designer will need to integrate the payment set-up into the site but is welcome to use whatever payment gateway they feel would be best as long as it allows customers to pay directly to use (worldpay, cardsave etc not paypal).

Behind the scenes would be quite similar to posting a job on this site. Artists can sign up and open an account with the site and upload the artwork they have for sale and how much they want to charge for it. This is then submitted to us and when approved, is listed on the site. Ideally this process would be automatic but if this is not possible then a simple form that when submitted would send the details and attachment/photo to our email address would be acceptable and we can list the artwork manually. Please specify in your message which of these two options you would be able to do.

With regards to the shops side of the website, it would all be quite basic but would show a small picture to start with and then when clicked on will open up a profile for that piece of artwork (as with pretty much all ecommerce sites) and the buyer can read any details of the art, view a larger picture and purchase the artwork. I would also like to be able to split the artwork into categories e.g. abstract, oil paintings etc. Again, pretty standard with ecommerce sites as i\'m sure you all know.

I hope this gives you a good idea of the sort of thing i\'m going for as it\'s a difficult concept to get across. The idea is similar to but we are looking for a much more user-friendly and just generally more sophisticated design. So customer\'s feel like they are just buying from a normal, stylish art store.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
