Description

Experience Level: Entry
We are seeking a competent and experienced freelance WordPress developer/designer to update the content and presentation of an existing live website for a sustainability-focused business.

This assignment is strictly for content updates and minor visual improvements within the existing WordPress theme. It is not a website redesign, redevelopment or complete rebuild.

The approved website content has already been developed and will be supplied. The work will mainly involve removing selected outdated content, uploading the new content and presenting it professionally within the current website structure and theme.

The freelancer will also be expected to improve page layouts and the visual presentation of the supplied content, apply suitable creative design elements that reflect sustainability and professional credibility, recommend appropriate images where these would strengthen the content, and maintain consistency in fonts, colours, spacing, imagery and overall brand presentation.

We are looking for a proactive and dependable professional who can understand the brief, exercise sound design judgement and complete the assignment independently with minimal supervision. Our team will provide the content, direction and feedback, but we will not be available for extensive day-to-day hand-holding.

Experience working with sustainability, climate, environmental, ESG, consulting or other professional-services websites will be an advantage.

This is a fixed-price assignment. Applicants should therefore only apply if they are comfortable completing the stated scope within the advertised budget.

    2. Will you provide all final content and images, or would you like us to source royalty-free images where appropriate?

    Else, it's not possible to make a meaningful proposal that allows for any recommendations; strategy to implement; timeline and if the suggested fee is fair and reasonable for the amount of work (which at the moment is not quantifiable).
