Experience Level: Expert
We are a young LED lighing technology company. We need a product website designing for a new scuba diving light that is four times more powerful than anything currently on the market. It is being used by the BBC natural history unit (Blue Planet etc). The site will be a digital brochure with added functionality - e-commerce, pages for diving community forums and photo/video uploads. We have a spec - around 12 pages. Site needs to go live 1st October 2013.
Site look and feel:
- Business to primarily consumers (but needs to feel “professional” for our B2B distributors and dealers
- Aimed at high end of niche market – scuba diving – so knowledgeable enthusiasts willing to spend £2k on a powerful torch to light up their underwater photography to professional standards
- Global appeal and customer base
- Brand values – reliability, trust, technological, unlocks exciting opportunities underwater
- White background (inviting), or black/dark background (suggesting underwater experience) – to be advised by you
- Needs to be built using industry-standard technologies
