Description
Experience Level: Expert

Overview
I am looking for an experienced UX designer, product designer, or conversion-focused web designer to help structure and plan a property services website before any design work begins.
This is not a task for someone who just executes instructions. I am specifically looking for someone who can analyse the business, recommend the best website structure, and guide the direction of the user experience.
I want to work with someone who can tell me what should be built, not just build what I suggest.
About the business
The business is called Exploring Madeira and helps international buyers in Madeira with two main areas:
• Finding land opportunities (including off-market plots)
• Supporting renovation and construction projects through trusted local teams
I understand the business and the services, but I am not a UX expert and I want someone experienced to recommend the best way this should be structured online.
What I am actually looking for
I am looking for someone who can first help answer questions like:
- How should this website be structured?
- What should the homepage focus on?
- Should services be combined or separated?
- How should users flow through the site?
- How should landing pages be structured for ads?
- What increases trust for property buyers?
- How should enquiries be captured?
I want professional guidance before design decisions are made.
What I need from you Ideally I want someone who can:
- Review the business concept
-Understand the two core services
- Recommend the best website architecture
- Suggest UX structure
- Recommend page hierarchy
- Suggest wireframe direction
- Advise conversion improvements
- Suggest landing page approach
- Basically I need someone to lead the UX thinking, not just design visuals.
Important clarification
I am not looking for someone to just make the site look modern or visually nice.
I am specifically looking for someone who understands:
User journeys
Conversion flow
Lead generation websites
Service business UX
Landing page strategy
If your process normally starts with strategy or wireframes before design, that is exactly what I am looking for.
My main challenge
I have already worked with designers who focused only on visuals and did not help with structure or user flow.
This time I want someone who can take a more strategic role.
What success looks like
Success for me would be someone who can say things like:
"This should be the homepage structure."
"These services should be separated like this."
"This is how users should flow."
"These pages should exist."
"This is where CTAs should go."
"This is how to improve enquiries."
I want direction, not just execution.
Ideal experience
UX design
Product design
Conversion design
Service websites
Property websites (bonus)
Lead generation websites
Project Overview
The company operates around two clear core services:
1 — Land sourcing
Helping buyers find land including off-market opportunities.
2 — Building & renovation support
Connecting buyers with trusted local construction teams and providing local coordination support.
The website should clearly communicate these as two independent service paths, allowing visitors to immediately choose what they need.
The goal is clarity, trust and lead generation.
Primary Website Goal
Generate qualified enquiries from international buyers looking for:
• Land opportunities
• Renovation projects
• Construction projects
• Local project support
The website should function as a lead generation tool, not just an information site.
Secondary Goals
Build trust
Show local expertise
Position as buyer representative
Show network strength
The website should be structured around intent based navigation.
Visitors should immediately understand they have two choices:
- Find Land
- Build or Renovate Property
The homepage should act as a service gateway, visually presenting both options equally.
The user should not feel forced into a full service package.
Each service should feel accessible independently.
How to apply
To make sure we are aligned, please answer:
1 – How do you normally approach structuring a service website?
2 – Do you start with UX thinking or visual design?
3 – Can you share an example where you improved a website's structure?
4 – How would you approach a website with two different services?
Budget if flexible for the right person.
Anyone who replies to this with Chat GPT will also be declined and blocked.
