Troubleshooting wordpress design - generate press/geodirectory

Hi
I need a bit of help troubleshooting some design issues and functionality on my travel directory. Mainly:-
Customising home page to add clickable boxes to take you to a different section of the website. I have worked out how to do this for destinations but also want to be able to do this for 'guide' and also different search parameters e.g urban escapes etc that I can change when I need to (it's geodirectory directory search)
Customise the destinations template page so that for each country the featured image and destination name comes up (i use generate press as a theme so it will be adapting the elements section)
Ensure map is zoomed in to correct size
Widen margins on the listings and template pages without affecting the margin size on blog posts.
Customise the listings details page (geodirectory) to add more white space/colour/blocks etc to break the page up and possibly add in more images if I can. This may be tricky as it's a set geodirectory page....PHP needed?
Other minor tweaks, maybe 2-3 small if they crop up
