We are an non-profit seeking a professional designer to create ONE template: one desktop version of the landing page for our website. We are hiring 3-4 candidates for the initial phase for the range of $30-$80 per candidate. The rate is adjusted on previous experience and portfolio.

Based on the 3-4 selected design proposals, our team will select the top choice to move on and do additional work for 8-10 more desktop mockups, along with 8-10 mobile and tablet mockups. The winning agency/designer will potentially create a total of 24-30 pages of mockups.

An ideal candidate has a keen eye for modern, responsive design, with fundamental understanding of color theory and modern typography. No Open Sans or Arial, or even general Google Fonts. We like to know that you have curated your own typography.

Our developer will be using Bootstrap 3 framework, and heavy JS effects like parallax, and JQuery. Bootstrap has its own grid system as suppose to 960 grid system or Foundation, so it will be great if you could recognize that in the design.

Our designer and web developer have already prepare the guidelines for you to follow. You are welcome to use our inspiration boards, sitemap, and wireframes to guide you along. We also dare you think outside the box and come up with your own color palate and branding, if you believe that is necessary.

Mood Board: Bright and Bold [see attachment] – we like the color palate and use of white space, we do not like the bold fonts, we prefer thinner fonts
Mood Board: Warm Color Burst [see attachment]– we like the clean, thin fonts, modern typography and high res photography, and the variation of grey tones, we also like the playful use of photos with bright colors

The final feeling we want to evoke in the final product would be described in the following words:
“Modern, motivating, inspiring, positive, forward-looking, visionary, dynamic.”
“Good use of white space, multiple gray tones and overlays option with high contrast.”

    Please read the fine print: this is for ONE page, which you will get compensated for in the range of $30-$80. Most proposals asks $70-100, and we are fine with it. The selected candidate we have a bigger budget of $400-$600 for more pages. If this is not ideal, then please decline.

    You spend 3 paragraphs asking even "curated fonts" and then say you will build it with Bootstrap. This is not a professional high end design, it is a waste of time for us who read it.

    Hello, Bootstrap is a framework for code and responsive breakpoints. There is no reason curated fonts and bootstrap cannot work together. A reasoned designer should know this.

    If you think that is necessary, and your portfolio can prove it. Then you are welcome to ask for a higher rate of up to $100-200. Most people submit with $60-80 range. We think this is acceptable for a preliminary round.

    You must increase your budget for that MASSIVE LIST OF SPECS ... Advertising/Branding is not a cheap flyer. When You come up with that list of specs and all that you need to understand AND RESPECT the designer. HE/WE ARE SPENDING HOURS DESIGNING SOMETHING WITH IMPACT WHICH HOURS ARE NOT REFLECTED IN YOUR 30$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR ADD IS DISRESPECTFUL IN MY OPINION AND ASKING PEOPLE TO CANDIDATE FOR IT IT MAKES IT EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS !!!!!!!!!!

    The budget is $30 and up to $80. This is for ONE page template as a STARTER. All the work on mood, color, and specifications are laid out. This is to guide your design along. If you think this is too much, feel free to decline.
