Smart Design UK is a growing web design and digital marketing agency based in Ashford, Kent, and we are looking for an experienced Oxygen Builder Developer to assist with the production of WordPress websites on an ongoing freelance basis.
About the Role
We already handle the design, planning, content creation, and client communication. We are looking for a developer who can take our completed wireframes, layouts, and content and accurately build them within Oxygen Builder.
This is not a design role. Instead, we require someone who can efficiently translate our supplied specifications into clean, responsive, and professional websites.
What We Will Provide
Website wireframes and layouts
Written content
Images and media assets
Project specifications and build requirements
Ongoing support and clarification where required
What You Will Be Doing
Building WordPress websites using Oxygen Builder
Following supplied wireframes and layouts accurately
Creating responsive designs that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Ensuring builds meet our internal quality standards
Implementing basic animations, layouts, and styling where specified
Returning completed websites for final review and client approval
Essential Skills
Strong experience with WordPress
Proven experience using Oxygen Builder
Good understanding of responsive web development
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Ability to follow detailed specifications and instructions
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to meet agreed deadlines
Desirable Skills
Experience with WooCommerce
Understanding of page speed optimisation
Experience working with custom code snippets
Familiarity with SEO-friendly website structures
Working Relationship
We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a reliable freelancer or development company who can become an extension of our team as our workload continues to grow.
