Description
Experience Level: Expert
Website Revamp – Project Requirements
Platform Transition: Beaver Builder → Blocksy or Kadence Theme
Primary Focus: SEO Optimization, Speed, User Experience, and WooCommerce Flow
1. WooCommerce Ordering Flow Optimization
Redesign and streamline the customer journey from product selection to checkout using Blocksy’s or Kadence’s native WooCommerce capabilities.
Minimize the number of steps required to complete a purchase.
Eliminate any friction points in the checkout process to increase conversion rates.
Implement intuitive button placements, cart visibility, and clear call-to-action flows.
2. Template Redesign – Theme Implementation
Fully transition the site from Beaver Builder to Blocksy or Kadence, leveraging either theme’s modern, performance-first architecture.
Apply a clean, lightweight UI using fast-rendering and SEO-optimized components.
Ensure all theme elements follow best practices for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Use minimal, light-colored imagery and iconography to support fast loading speeds and visual clarity.
3. Mobile-First Responsiveness
Guarantee seamless responsiveness across all screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Ensure product and category pages maintain consistent layout, spacing, and image alignment between devices.
Optimize for intuitive navigation on touch devices, including thumb zones and scalable menus.
4. Enhanced User Experience (UX)
Improve global navigation with logical category structures, breadcrumbs, and smart menus.
Enable layout toggle functionality (grid/list) for product archives and shop views.
Prominently display the client login area across all breakpoints and devices.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
5. Product Page SEO & Layout Optimization
Prioritize loading sequence: content first, followed by title tags, product metadata, and images.
Optimize all product images for quality and speed, using modern compression methods and responsive sizing.
Validate semantic HTML structure, including correct use of H1 tags and heading hierarchy.
Leverage built-in schema support and SEO plugin compatibility (e.g., RankMath, Yoast) for enhanced indexing and SERP visibility.
6. Performance and Speed Improvements
Ensure the site loads rapidly using the lightweight, modular framework provided by Blocksy or Kadence.
Defer non-critical JS/CSS and reduce render-blocking resources.
Optimize and lazy-load all media assets to minimize load times and improve user experience.
Maintain full visibility to search engines—no blocked content or restrictive robot directives.
Implement SEO best practices: clean permalink structure, alt attributes, meta descriptions, structured data, robots.txt, and sitemap integration.
7. Functional & Cross-Device Testing
Conduct complete functional testing of the WooCommerce checkout flow and payment gateway integration.
Test all forms, buttons, popups, and navigation components across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Confirm full compatibility with all major browsers and screen resolutions for a consistent user experience.
