Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello,
We are seeking an online presence. We're a Royal Chartered Institution, a registered charity and have existed for over 200 years - now it's time for us to enter the 21st Century!
Initially, the website will be for communications only - our work, our vision and our history - however, in the not-too-distant future, we hope to resurrect our trading arm, so a site will have to be easy to programme and have space for an e-commerce platform.
Although we are a charity, we don't want to go down the traditional charity website route. We want to look smart and sophisticated, reflecting our Royal Status and the people who follow our work.
Our charitable aim is to promote welfare in the Caribbean through education, commerce and training. We work across the world, and our website should be accessible by all - whether in the airport or in the comfort of their home.
This is ok: http://www.amnesty.org.uk/
This isn't great: http://www.ageuk.org.uk/
The logo is attached below, as well as the (draft) new cover for our contemporary magazine. We look forward to receiving your bids!
