Convert product PDF into a scroll-based digital publication

Overview
We’re looking for a designer to convert an existing luxury product PDF into a scroll-based digital publication that can be viewed smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

The end result must be compatible with Squarespace, as the publication will be embedded into or hosted within an existing Squarespace website.

The aim is not to redesign the content, but to translate the editorial feel of the PDF into a refined scrolling experience that reflects the brand’s calm, premium positioning.

No additional photography, video, or illustration assets are available.

Editorial rather than “website-y”

Calm, spacious, and considered

Minimal and design-led, not sales-driven

What we want to create
A single scroll-based digital publication that:

Reads like a luxury editorial or lookbook

Preserves the pacing and hierarchy of the PDF

Uses scrolling to replace page turns in a natural way

Feels intentional and curated, not endless or cluttered

Suggested structure (open to recommendation):

Full-bleed hero sections for key imagery

Clear thematic sections (e.g. light, movement, materials)

Elegant spacing and rhythm between content blocks

Typography aligned with the existing brand look

Optional restrained micro-interactions

Interaction & motion
Motion is optional and should remain subtle:

Gentle fade-ins or reveals on scroll

Slow image transitions or soft parallax (if appropriate)

No heavy animation or distracting effects

Performance and calmness are more important than visual tricks.

Squarespace compatibility (important)
The final output must be:

Embeddable within a Squarespace site

Delivered as:

Custom HTML/CSS/JS blocks, or

A Squarespace-friendly page template, or

A hosted solution that can be cleanly embedded via iframe
