Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Design details: The European Youth Forum is developing a new e-newsletter using MailChimp for its members and other key audiences. This newsletter will replace two previous newsletters and will include: news, events and a subscription-only feature which will be just for our members.
We want the new newsletter to be attractive, image heavy and text-light. It should be in a template format that is easy for non-design/IT people within the organisation to insert the information each week.
Some technical specifications:
- pop out articles, so readers can read a summary of the article without having to click through to the website
- personalise articles with a small picture and "by-line" of author of each article
- tags for articles so that readers can register for news which is of interest to them
- social media sharing buttons for entire newsletter and individual articles
- unsubscribe and feedback buttons
- forward to a friend button
We need to be sure that:
- the newsletter does not go into junk folders;
- it can be hosted somewhere on our website www.youthforum.org
- we can extract e-lists from current provider, Vertical Response
Type of email needed: Newsletter
Ideas for the visual style: Youthful; colourful; lots of images
Preferred colors: We have graphic guidelines for the colours that can be used - will be sent to selected designer.
