Description
Experience Level: Expert
Have you ever gone into a supermarket or pharmacy to shop for plasters, bandages and the like? It's a nightmare navigating all the different options to find what you need or discover what you didn't know you need.
There might be 100+ different products with 20 facings, 5 shelves deep (see picture)
There are a number of issues to solve:-
For the shopper - how can they find what they want easily?
For the retailer - how can they minimise the number facings and footprint whilst maintaining visibility and stocking levels?
For the manufacturer - how can they educate, up-sell and cross-sell shoppers?
We've provided a few thought starters but not the answer. We want you to revolutionise how this category is sold in pharmacy and supermarkets!
We've indicated a budget for this of GBP 500 for concept designs but you'll need to prove you have the right solution first. Here's the 'pitch process'.
1. Express your interest in the project and we will shortlist 3 industrial designers.
2. Submit your idea. This can be a rough sketch and/or description that explains your solution.
3. We'll pick the best idea and ask you to do some concept designs (this is the bit we'll pay for).
We'll need stages 1 & 2 completed this week to allow the winner to do the concept designs next week.
Thanks for your help!
