Logo for new horror chocolate company

PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY (ESPECIALLY THE BIT AT THE END)

Update: I've already got 8 shortlisted so I'll close this at 10 and start making some kind of decisions (but it's hard because the talent is so incredible).

Ideas for the visual style: Something quirky and cool, that's really attractive and FUN, while still having a horror element.

I'd like - if it looks great - to have each letter (see second image) in little lozenges or some kind of container, with the little illuminated demons / imp things around the wording.

The end result needs to be an amalgam of both these images...

Extra notes: Looking for a logo for my new fledgling Chocolate Confectionery company and I thought I'd look here for a designer.

The company is CandyMonster and the company is releasing horror-themed food products. But I don't want to go to far toward horror and I'd like a logo that features an interesting font with little cuteish gremlins around it (mostly glowing eyes and teeth). The logo you can see here which I did (I know, I'm a Photoshop genius) is FAR TOO COMPLEX in terms of the gremlins - I'd rather just have eyes and teeth and perhaps claws surrounded by light.

I certainly hope you can realise my vision.

I wanted to see dark colours and matching colours, reds and purples and gold for the gremlins... I see this as a strong font with a sort of Christmas lights-type gremlins around it!

I am NOT looking for a generic logo here. I need something hand drawn that's really eye catching that is NOT a derivative of another logo or one previously in circulation. I cannot imagine that this logo will take less than a day (or more) to design and I'm hopeful to receive realistic quotes in that area.

This is NOT a logo I want to take lightly. I want an artist I can work with to create this logo, which means discussion and potentially quite a few edits (again, we can discuss payment for that as well).

Also: artist will get some truly scrummy choccy bars to trial and be extremely cool with :)
