Need a logo design for a dance school
Dance school name is Du Feu Dance. The dance school teaches children aged 3-18 in different dance genres, mainly ballet, modern and tap.
Du Feu is the surname of the school owner and when translated to English means 'of the fire'
Looking for a logo that is modern, fresh and simple look where the image can be put onto website, marketing materials and clothing like a kids hoodie.
The thought process we had is as follows:
- as the surname means 'of the fire' and the school teaches children to dance, the thought is to have an 'impression of a dancer emerging from an impression of a flame using simple lines. e.g. to fit the ethos of Du Feu Dance nurtures the next generation of dancers.
-The image not to be overly illustrated. Like it to be gender neutral and just a general dancer, ie NOT to make it look specific Ballet.
-Potentially a bit abstract where its not overly obvious straight away but as you look you start to see a dancer from the lines. I don't want it to look too traditional a more vibrant, young look.
- The first uploaded image is something i've drawn myself (very bad I know) but hopefully gives a basic idea of what i'm thinking. The other images I just picked out of google images and is kind of along the lines of the thought process.
Looking for someone to work on this concept and/or if the illustrator/designer feels there is a better approach, I'm open to exploring that too.
