1st design - the logo is for a software development business primarily on selling business tools. The business is called brightboy, bright as in clever, smart, innovative. The logo to include the business name. Must be clean and simple design, 1/2 colours, maybe inc an image of a head having an idea. Think 37signals

2nd design - the logo is for a secure messaging service like IM but using high levels of security. The name of the service is called whisper, to speak very softly using one's breath rather than one's throat, esp. for the sake of secrecy. Again I can see the logo being clean and simple, 1/2 colours, maybe including a silhouette of a hand cupping to an ear whispering
