Logo Design for Calendar Website

Logo design to include symbol and text (the name of the website). The logo is for a new online calendar website focusing on house music. Logo should be hip, cool, colorful (at least 2 colors).

We are looking for 2 versions of the logo:
*Square version and banner size version

Once we agree on the final logo, each of the following are required:
* Primary logo
* Website banner size
* Square icon size
* Favicon size
* Facebook icon size


Basically one logo formatted to meet different size requirements. The primary logo should be a high resolution vector file (ai) and TIFF file.

Other sizes should be provided in PSD, JPG and GIF formats for each.

3. Square icon
This is a square version of the logo. It needs to be in sharp, good quality with the following dimensions:
•96 x 96 (Google Buzz)
•48 x 48 (Google Buzz will automatically scale the 96x96 image to 48x48)
•48 x 48 (Twitter)

4. Favicon
•The browser bookmark (“favicon”) must be an ICO file that combines all of these sizes:
•32 x 32 (Browser bookmark / “favicon”)
•24 x 24 (Browser bookmark / “favicon” / e.g. MS Internet Explorer)
•16 x 16 (Browser bookmark / “favicon” / e.g. Firefox)

5. Facebook icon
Facebook has special technical requirements. The primary fan page image does not need to be square, but it needs to be 200 pixels wide. Facebook will allow you to select a square from the image but it will crop 15% of that square’s width and height. That image must look good at 50 x 50, so you need to consider:
•50 x 50 (Facebook will automatically crop and scale the 200-wide image to 50x50)

The winner will be expected to provide 3 to 5 example logos from which one will be refined.
