Logo Design

This is only my second posting for a job so I hope I have included the correct amount of detail.

Myself and my friend have a worked up concept for a logo that needs development and a graphical component adding to it. We are hoping to have a final version completed within the next three weeks.

We have a definitive mission statement/strap line/vision which we would like to try and represent graphically.

The final logo needs to work on a variety of merchandise and mediums:
T-shirts, large banners, websites, black and white, brochures, caps, keying etc...

The final logo will need to be in all the relevant document types - e.g. vectored so it can be changed in size; colours editable in future

Please find attached the following:

1) Colours we like although the shades/tones are not set in stone
2) Text - the content of the text is set - we welcome one or two alternatives in appearance

We are thinking along the ideas of a process involving:

1) 5 different first version concepts
2) 3 being further developed in concept
3) 1 final version being taken forward to completion

We're open to other processes as we are not the experts!
