I need a professional logo

Extra notes: We are 3d surveying / modelling firm, which operate mainly in the oil and gas industry; our surveying is completed with a 3D scanner which basically fires off millions of points per second, which produces a 3D model (point cloud).

We currently have a logo, but we don't feel it carries the right image were looking for, the technology and software we use is very new and revolutionary and with that I feel we need a logo to reflect this. I have attached an image of our current logo.

We like the idea that the logo takes the shape of the letter "A" because of our company name "Advanced Laser Solutions"; I have found several logos, which I like and have attached them.

I have also attached a website design which has recently been created.
The logo should be fresh and layered, I like the idea of transparent layers, the AutoCAD logo shows this as an example but what I like about this logo is the 3D affect. I would like ours 3D but I don't want to see any typical 3D extrusion!

Our drawing and modelling work relies on consistency and straight concise lines, which I feel the logo should also reflect.

I don't like anything tacky, I want a 3D logo without the typical cheap effects like extrusion and shadows.

We only have two corporate colours, which are pink and grey,
