I need a logo for a photo app

Information for the business: We have developed an app that alters the colours of photos
Industry: Internet/Software
Type of logo: Abstract mark
Brand name/slogan in logo: pixeldye
Ideas for the visual style: something with colours and/or layers
Where the design will be used: app logo, iTunes, website
Extra notes: Our software is pretty simple. you can take or load a picture or video and stick a filter on it which essentially is a colour schema. you can then change the filter's intensity and choose the next filter. so a layers of different filters each with their own opacity. kinda like you do when layering things on in photoshop, except you can just do it on your iPhone.

We want to offer the app for free as we mainly developed it for ourselves and a few friends, but we've been encouraged to put it on the Appstore. However we don't expect any revenue to come in and are unable to offer much pay. So if you've got an idea for a simple but good looking logo that we can use for the app or anything related, please come forward. Thanks.
