Description
Experience Level: Expert
BEFORE YOU READ THIS DO NOT RESPOND IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE EXPERTISE AND SECONDLY I WANT THIS COMPLETED BY THE END OF THE WEEK. It will involve tweaks, so if you are the kind of person who will only allow one of two changes you are not the person for the job. I want someone who will work with me until this is done and the Trustees are happy with it.
I am looking for someone with design training - someone who understands typography and its place in logo design. Please send details of your training.
Re the cost. I haven't set a price, but will see who comes back with it. My experience has been that those that charge the most haven't always been the best for the job by a long way!
I need a professional logo for an academic Trust that manages primary schools. It needs to be based around the letters TGAT with the TG and being green in colour. It needs to refer to the original logo of the prep school that closed down years ago - see image attached (the one of the eagle) I do not believe the eagle is the correct logo for primary aged children, but I think there could be something with the oak leaves and acorns. BUT it mustn't loom like Playschool. It's not a school logo, but a Trust logo.
I have attached another school logo, which uses the S of a School name. I am not suggesting that this is the answer, merely a ref point of how one school has used a letter as a logo.
The headline vision of the Trust is “Excellence in Primary Education.” We believe strongly that primary education is often ignored when overall educational development is discussed and forward policy agreed. We strive to promote the critical importance of primary education and will represent it wherever we can.
We recognise that each school has its own journey and that it is possible to achieve individuality, at the same time as demonstrating a shared vision of excellence. We encourage diversity of thought and approach, whilst strongly promoting our ethos.
The ethos is the following:
encouraging a breadth of educational challenge and inspiration, within and beyond the taught curriculum
pro-active support for the recruitment and appointment of inspirational leaders
support for the Leadership Team given through the appointment of exceptional governors.
promoting a broad and balanced curriculum beyond the National Curriculum core subjects of the Primary stage
outdoor activity in the natural environment with a diversity of physical challenges, including planned and managed risk taking
an appropriate range of internal assessment and pupil performance procedures that measure pupil progress and outcomes
an extended day with timetabled after-school enrichment provision. The Trust wants to encourage initiatives to support working families
community engagement: working with children, parents, staff, local residents and others, such as allowing some access to school facilities outside the school day
encouraging a shared sense of belonging and identity by the wearing of uniforms and the use of ‘House’ structures for both pastoral and competitive purposes
children’s nutrition, ensuring children eat at least one healthy cooked meal a day
fair admission procedures that ensure access, inclusion and equality of opportunity. The Trust will consider support for any school compatible with the Trust’s Ethos, provided that a majority of pupils are not selected on a basis of faith (or a similar selective criterion)
