Ideas for the visual style: See attachment
Preferred colors: not pastels, not primary colours [ Think 'clean colours' ]
Where the design will be used: On my website / stationery
Extra notes: My web-designer created a logo as part of my web-development package, so I have already paid for the logo to be designed:( The domain name is www.finallyslimforever.co.uk.
I have another website - and logo - www.finallysmokefree. I like that logo and wanted the new logo to have a similar feel. I suggested that the 'i' in finally be of a slim woman. I am not great at visualising colours, but know what I like and don't like: I like many of the colours in the 'Heritage Range' @ Farrow and Ball, but don't like 'wishy washy' pastels, such as beige and lemon, nor primary colours.
What the web-developer has designed is not awful, but there just seems to be something 'missing', but I can't put my finger on how it can be improved.
Here is a link to the 'ai' file. Please let me know if you think you can improve on it, and what changes you would suggest: Colours? Shape? Style?
Also, how much you would charge?... as that is important

Lovely lady. Very interesting job offer, but you're not clear on what you want. Usually clients who share like this, I want that are quite problematic. From experience I know that we designers give one, two ideas that are appropriate for your business and from now on we prefer to answer this logo you to serve you and you make money. I would not waste your time you do something that I would lose time and be approved after a month or two. So I wish you success!
