Senior Revit Designer for Residential Building Projects

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Revit Designer to join our team for a variety of residential building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Revit modeling, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design, and structural design. The candidate will be responsible for producing detailed full set drawings and ensuring all designs meet required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed and accurate Revit models for residential buildings.

Design MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) for residential projects.

Collaborate with structural engineers to integrate structural design into the building model.

Produce high-quality full set drawings, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and details.

Review and interpret architectural plans and incorporate the necessary MEP and structural elements into the Revit model.

Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure designs are aligned with the overall project goals.

Assist in the creation of design documentation and reports.

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards.

Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on Revit best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Revit Designer or similar role in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.

Expertise in creating Revit models and full set drawings for residential buildings.

Strong knowledge of MEP design and structural integration within Revit.

Proficiency in using Revit for both 2D and 3D modeling.

Experience with building codes, regulations, and standards for residential construction.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and standards.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Portfolio Requirements:

Please submit a portfolio showcasing previous residential projects, including Revit models and full set drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, details, etc.).

Experience with MEP and structural design integration within Revit is a plus.

Provide examples of complex residential projects where you demonstrated your ability to manage all aspects of the design process.
