Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Established in The Kingdom of Bahrain during the start of the Covid-19 Epidemic in 2021, Hydur has established itself as a successful e-Commerce brand and has successfully launched its online presence in both Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
The Brand has launched various product verticals within the Scenting space namely:
-Ultrasonic and nebulisation technology diffuser machines
-Over 49 different scenting options over various categories
-Room Spray
-Hand Sanitizers
-Candles (In Trial Phase – launching in 2023)
-Reed Diffusers (In Trial Phase - launching in 2023)
Requirements:
Having been in this market for only a year, we have seen a need to have a physical presence in the form of a retail store that can take the brand and its vision further.
There is a demand to Shop for a scent in person since you get to smell your all-time favorites, learn about new scents, and become enamoured with the aromas all around you. It's often vital to purchase perfumes and fragrances in person, particularly if you're seeking for a fresh distinctive aroma to go with your personal sense of style.
-Retail Space size – (+-100 SqM)
-Store Design with deliverables Instore design and proposed floor plan.
-Shopfront - should be open - similar to a Lush or a Rituals store. No obstructions, should be welcoming
Hydur should provide an experience / create a moment when customers enter the store
It is not conventional retail as we need to sell the experience
Selling scent is a personal experience. Focus in not only machines. Machines only require one space or area to display type of machines available.
We want to own the scenting segment and will use a #scentingbahrain for each of the countries we launch in. The same will be on social media. We want to create instagramable moments. Check EL&N how they are doing a feature wall.
The design of the store should not be conventional retail as mentioned earlier. We want to sell 3 key experiences - For Car, For Home, At work (Office). These can be done as 3 different sections within the store. A car dashboard cut and coming out the wall showing the Tiny diff machine in situ. For home can be a sofa/living room setting with a machine in situ. For office can be a desk cut in half coming out of the wall as a prop with a machine in situ. A kind of 3D experience.
We need an area for smelling of the scents we have available. As mentioned we have 47 different scents. We have a Tiny diff stand that I will share with you. This has charging cables embedded and I will send you some pics.
The selling experience is also very consultative so we need a booth where the customers can sit. A very similar concept or idea is how customers are served in a Rolex store / Dammas or even Louis Vuitton. Couches and they are served by the attendant.
Lighting of the store - modern yet elegant - make use of chandeliers to give it a luxury feel yet inviting. Not overly expensive
The colour palette of the store should be monotone / grey with accents of colour i.e use of florescent lighting for the feature walls. No need to follow the brand colours. Feature wall can have the #scentingbahrain hashtag in a florescent colour.
The objective is to create a consumer scenting experience using modern machine technology.
