Hallway
We would be open to extending the porch width, parallel to the staircase/study to provide a grander porch that would not only open up the hallway but to see up the stairs when entering the house.
We’re open to having the hallway / living room doorway relocated if needed to maximum the layout in the lounge. This could be either on the hallway wall or porch wall after the porch arch (based on the porch being extended if needed).
Living Room
We’re open to having the hallway / living room doorway relocated if needed to maximum the layout in the lounge.
We’re open to relocating the fireplace if needed to maximum the layout in the lounge. We are still exploring option of a traditional or modern fireplace.
It is important for us to understand the best arrangement and orientation for the seating, to allow for the purchase of the sofa’s.
We like the idea of a media wall for the TV, etc to be located in, however this is not a must.
Note – two small high-level windows either side of the living room fireplace to consider when configuring the lounge layout.
Kitchen / Dining Room
We would like to have an open plan kitchen diner, which flows with the living room and conservatory (future day room conversion).
We like the idea of the existing kitchen window being replaced with doors opening into the garden.
We like the idea of a kitchen island.
Note the current location of the kitchen / hallway doors is opposite the study, we believe the door would be better located as the property developer layout closer to the dining room as this would provide light throughout the hallway (front / back).
We have purchased a new dining table; the measurements are 220(L) 100(W) CM and the chairs are 64(D) 57(W) CM.
With regard to the utility room we’re open to any changes necessary, including relocation of the kitchen / utility door, if necessary to maximise the kitchen diner layout. Possibly a sliding door or utilize space if needed.
Conservatory (Future Day Room conversion)
Aprox 128x162CM dimensions.
We believe this would be a perfect day room that integrates into the dining room and the whole house.
