We are about to launch a new design and layout of our website which sells a small number (currently 5) of niche training courses. As part of the new layout we will have a course catalogue page and will require an image or icon to be created for each course. Initially we are therefore looking for 5 images to be designed. As we launch new courses we will want further images (probably 2 or 3 a year max). If bidding for this job please can you quote for a one-off initial fee for the creation of 5 images, and then a per-image ongoing fee afterwards.
We will tell the person who gets the job what images we want, but as an example we could ask for definite things like a house or a frog, or concepts like waiting or speed. The images will represent an aspect of the training course it will represent.
We want unique images to be created for us, which do not look like clip-art, and fit within the design and colour scheme of the site, and match our branding. We will of course have sample pages to show the person who takes on this job.
One thing that is key for us is that the style of the images must have a consistency to them so that when a page of images is viewed they look good together, and look like they fit with our branding. The courses are sold as downloads or as DVDs and we will potentially look to incorporate the image within the DVD box design - a stylised DVD box with an image in would therefore work well too. We're open to suggestions as to whether simple one-colour sketch drawings would be ideal for example.
If bidding for this role please provide examples of images you have created before - ideally at least two or three different images which have a similar style.
