Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I intend 2 collections of songs. Each one needs illustration to describe it. Each of these will be the heads of various animals in the style of adult colouring book animals. For example the first collection would need, say, 12 animals heads as follows - Wolf, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Emepror Penguin, Cheetah, Tiger, Giant Panda, Zebra Foal plus three more yet to be decided. Imagine these as the cover of a CD. The second collection would have 18 animals heads, largely different to the first collection, though there will be a few the same. So roughly I need c30 illustrations of animal heads that are in the style of adult colouring books. They should be recognisable as the animal in question, but coloured and patterned creatively - as they are in adult colouring books. There is not a need for a lot of detail within each one - as they'll be relatively small because they'll generally be shown as groups. Probably I'd show 3 rows of 4 heads for the first collection of songs, for example. Maybe 4 rows of 6 for the second. It is possible I'd want to use them individually too, so they should also work like this.
I want to use these for Soundcloud and similar, possibly CD covers too. To see what an adult colouring book is, the following are some of the animal related ones in UK:
- Millie Marottas Animal Kingdom, Wild Savannah and Tropical Wonderland
- Menagerie
- Draw your way to a younger brain - Safari - by Anastasia Catris
- Draw your way to a younger brain - Cats - by Anastasia Catris
I think the level of detail of the drawings in the last two above is appropriate to what I need, obviously coloured in rather than just outlines.
I would also need the copyright for these pictures.
You can see these books on line - I think Amazon has them. The authors also have websites, although they don't show many pictures from within the books.
I think the best way to do this work is to find photos in the Internet of each animal, sketch the outlines and then pattern and colour them.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO GIVE GO AHEAD FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AS I DONT KNOW ALL THE ANIMAL HEADS UNTIL THEN. BUT I'D LIKE TO FIND SOMEONE INTERESTED TO DO THIS WORK.
