Seeking an Artistic Illustrator for a Poetic Children's Book

Hi,
I’m looking for a creative artists to bring my poetic children’s book to life. This story takes place in a vibrant, magical forest where different animals—each with their own struggles and strengths—learn about inclusion, feminine empowerment, and body awareness. Through flowing, poetic language, the book explores how to navigate difficult times, express emotions, and embrace who you are.

Think of a young fox learning to trust her instincts, an elephant embracing her strength, a shy owl finding her voice, and a tiny firefly discovering that her light, no matter how small, can brighten the darkest night. The art should feel warm, dreamy, and immersive—something that sparks imagination and emotion in both kids and adults.

I’m open to different artistic approaches—whether watercolor, digital painting, or mixed media. I want the illustrations to feel organic and full of life, so I trust you as the artist to find the best medium to express this world in a way that feels magical and authentic.

I´ll select from the submitted portfolios some people whose art I like to send t he full story and some character descriptions to do some paid test sketches and then take it from there.
