Logo Design with Character

We are a property management company. We need to update logo to a more contemporary cool style.

Current logo which served us whilst we established the business now needs to be updated as we start marketing to attract for new landlords.

I have a very clear idea of the style and colours required - it will be a case of adapting and reworking an existing logo belonging to another company (without infringing their copyright).

There is an element of illustration (a purple panda or part of one) together with a stlyised company name.
