Illustrator enquiry – children’s fantasy book project

Hello,
I’m currently inviting illustrators to enquire and provide quotes for a children’s fantasy book project.
The project is the first book in a planned middle-grade series (ages 8–12), set in a hidden magical world connected to Stonehenge. I’m looking to commission a small number of high-impact illustrations for Book One, with a focus on character design, atmosphere, and one or two key world visuals rather than heavy interior illustration.

A 1-page Illustration Brief is attached, which outlines:
• The project overview
• The specific illustrations required
• Style direction
• Usage and ownership requirements

Please note that pricing should be based on full ownership of the artwork, as detailed in the brief.
Ideally, I’m looking to work with an illustrator based in the UK, as I’d value the ability to discuss the project together (via call or, where appropriate, in person). However, creative fit is the most important factor, and I’m open to an initial conversation to explore this.
