I need a graphic designer to produce some clean, simple graphical representations of

I am finishing a report and require someone to help illustrate some of the data points in a way which makes them pleasing to look at and easy to understand.

The report is about movie scripts so there is plenty of iconographies to work with.

To give one example, the following values show how important certain factors are when you write a script in the Action genre: Plot (0.706), Characterization (0.696), Voice (0.686), Catharsis (0.679),Conflict (0.667), Tone (0.662), Pacing (0.656), Theme (0.638), Dialogue (0.62), Concept (0.618), Structure (0.584), Originality (0.542), Format (0.372).

I will be explaining the meaning of this finding in the text of the report and below that I would like a graphical representation of the data to show the relative scale. In many places within the report I will be using bar charts but I was thinking that it would be nice to also have something more graphical.

I already have a house style, font and colour scheme. You can see it in action on my site https://stephenfollows.com and in my previous report https://stephenfollows.com/horrorreport/. I will give full details of the font, colour and a complete copy of the previous report to the chosen person.

The work can start straight away and will need to be completed in the next week or so. I will give feedback to have tweaks.

At the end of the job I need the files delivered in an editable way (in whichever program they were created it) in case any of the data changes or we discover errors.

Please apply with examples of your relevant work and how much you charge (the amount in the job is a guess). Once I have found someone I like the style of, we will discuss the exact amount of work, how long it will take and how much that will cost. I will also send over the draft report.

This is not about producing full colour, design-heavy, busy infographics. Please do not send these as references as it’s not what I’m looking for. This job is about creating simple, easy to understand graphics, not full-page infographics. It’s closer to creating icons or a dashboard design.

In the past I have found that many people just apply on reflex after only reading the headline or category. Therefore please say “Yes, I have read the full brief” somewhere in your application email. Without this, I won’t consider the application. I’m sorry to have to do this but I have lost time in the past with people not reading the post and eventually turning down the job when they do finally read it.
