Graphic designer wanted for mock up web sites

As a relatively new web design company, we lack a commercial portfolio of our recent work to show to prospective clients.

We have come up with the idea of creating mock ups or demo web pages to fill the void until we have some “real” websites to demonstrate.

With this aim in mind, we are approaching graphic designers like yourself to create some single page mock ups that we can feed into our normal website structure. The mock ups can be either for ecommerce or non-ecommerce sites and will consist of just the home page but will hopefully show the potential of what one of our sites could look like.

For example, the mock up would show the home page of a fictitious fashion company, a jewellery firm or a firm of plumbers. The mock up page would consist of a header, footer, possibly left and right margins and a central block or blocks, all made up by and large of images with some text. We will send you the dimensions of all the elements involved. Please use Stock Photos/Royalty Free Photos to avoid any copyright infringements.

The layout can be achieved using the Content Management software that we employ. We would only require you to do the art work/ graphics, NOT the actual web design (HTML, CSS etc.,.) The finished article would resemble a “real” website.

The structure of these mock ups would lend easily to how we would create a real website for our customers but for this exercise only a home page (per website type/theme) is required.

Here are a few example sites that we would like to emulate (not copy exactly – but this gives you an idea of the style). You may have your own take on things, so some artistic licence is allowed and indeed encouraged. We are looking for a “wow factor” with these mock ups to make our websites stand out from the crowd.
