Character developer/ animator

We have an animated feature film script. We would like to work with someone to develop the characters visually so that we can prepare our sales package to take to Cannes Film Festival.

The movie is aimed at the same market as Toy Story and features Rex, a boy of about 8, his next door neighbour Beckie, a girl of about 11, Rex’s mom, who is looking for a job, and Beckie’s dad, who is a hot-rod builder.

The Adventures of Rex is a comedy with moments of pathos and takes place in America, although the boy and his mom are English. Rex also has a puppet/doll of a famous historic inventor which comes to life and helps him ingeniously build solutions to problems - though the solutions never quite work out the way they are intended.
