Description
Experience Level: Expert
Looking for a talented designer to design a wrap for a 10m racing boat's hull for next year's racing season. So looking for something 'different', standout, and visually dynamic.
You can use any colour as long as the colours are black, white and hot pink (based on current branding scheme). You will need to creatively incorporate the sail number 1396R which should be visible from approx a mile away in case she gets dismasted. It is envisaged that the 'black' component will be a matt black background base colour wrap.
It would be good if the final design can incorporate the headsail and main sail, which are black. This will not happen this year but might be implemented to the sails when they are replaced in 2023.
Attached is the technical spec of the boat and a cpl of pics for dimensioning the hull.
Note: the final output format needs to be a vector format, .eps, .ai, or PDF for the wrap materials to be laser cut by others.
PC credentials/disclaimer: The boat is being raced in UK & Irish waters. It is named based on a 70's song about a bottle of whiskey by the Ram Jam. I mention this, as this is the 2nd time of listing due to some completely unrelated geographic-specific sensitivity that may or may not offend someone at some point in the future...and yes, apparently that would be in the states. So in the spirit of full disclosure (and not to waste any more time). The boat is inclusive, the sponsors are exclusively UK based and actively support diversity and the boat is named Black Betty. No offence is intended or implied by using the words Black or Betty or any combination of these words in the boat's name.
