Professional booklet design

I would like to have the attached document professionally printed, but it looks a bit amateurish (because I did it on Word and I am no graphic designer!). Could someone make it look more professional before it goes to the printers? The images need to remain the same, but the font/background can change if that looks better.
We are a very small school, so I need to keep costs to a minimum I'm afraid.
