Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Design details: I am an award-winning schools music provider from Manchester. I am looking for someone who can design a simple A5 leaflet to promote a strongly-supported local protest campaign, for around £50. The campaign will be supported with a Facebook Group and Twitter accounts plus local media coverage. A website may also be added as necessary. I would really prefer a UK designer for this job, if for no other reason than the person needs to have some experience and understanding of the UK housing market and the reputation of estate agents within that market.
The campaign objectives are to secure justice for myself and my young family, following a vicious assault by staff at a local estate agents requiring reconstructive surgery, and to lobby for a change in English law, bringing it in line with Scotland, where estate agents cannot re-market properties once a buyer offer has been accepted and the sale is pending. The leaflet heading/strap-line and text are almost ready, barring social media details, although further input is always welcome. The leaflet will also feature two photographs, which are also ready in jpeg format. These will just need resizing and framing alongside each other, perhaps slightly angled and slightly overlapping, or similar. It's a simple job. Other work may well follow for the right person as the campaign grows.
Target audience: 10,000 local residents
Content on the front/back side and body: Pictures and text on the front, text only on the back
Ideas for the visual style: It needs to be strong, eye-catching and in keeping with the content. I don't want to be too prescriptive.
Extra notes: I will attach the draft content and jpeg photos in reply to a suitable proposal. I aim to have included all the final social media details within the leaflet text by the end of next week, at which point the leaflet will need to be ready for printing.
If you would like more information about the campaign and background feel free to ask.
