Technical Pattern Cutter / Garment Technologist Required
I am seeking an experienced pattern cutter, garment technologist, or apparel product developer to reverse engineer an existing hand-sewn fabric headcap for commercial manufacture.
The original item has been hand sewn and no pattern or technical documentation exists. The objective is to analyse the existing product and create the documentation required for factory sampling and mass production.
Scope of Work
* Reverse engineer an existing sewn item
* Create a production-ready digital pattern
* Document construction and assembly methods
* Produce a measurement/specification sheet
* Advise on manufacturing considerations
* Create a factory-ready tech pack (preferred)
* Advise on grading for additional sizes if appropriate
Deliverables
* Digital pattern files suitable for manufacturing
* Technical specifications
* Construction notes/instructions
* Tech pack suitable for factory quotation and production
* Any supporting documentation required for factory sampling
Requirements
* Proven experience in pattern cutting and garment development
* Experience creating production-ready patterns and technical packs
* Understanding of apparel manufacturing processes
* Ability to work under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
An NDA must be signed before photographs, measurements, or further details of the product can be shared.
Please provide examples of similar work, details of your experience, estimated cost, and expected timeframe for completion.
