Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Familiarity of Paperless Post is required as this will be the platform used. I will need the invitation to be completed by 7th March.
Design details: Wedding Invite:
Fun, fresh and clear wedding invitation using paperless post that features: map, timing, food, gift, hotels, transportation and dress details. We like bright colours and a fun, but classic style
Logo:
Monogram logo of J+K initials for use in invitation and other items (jpeg please).
Target audience: 150+ family and friends
Messages to communicate through the design: The invitation should be aligned with the theme of: an afternoon wedding in August with our friends and family at my parents' 110 year old barn in Western Canada.
The invitation should be easy to read, fun and provide all of the required information (I will give you all of the information).
The logo: should be simple, provide our initials. (J+K)
Ideas for the visual style: Barn theme, chickens, horses, banjos, cool, fun, easy.
Things to avoid: Flower-y, anything too 'bride-y'
Preferred colors: Bright, classic and fun.
Extra notes: Example Text:
Time:
3.30pm- Arrival
4pm- Ceremony
4.45pm- Photos and Cocktails
6.15pm- Dinner
8.30pm- Dancing
1.30am- Last bus leaves
Food:
Any food intolerances?
Dress:
Barnyard Formal (put some effort into it!). Frocks and ties welcome.
But please do not wear stiletto-type heels. Please wear footwear you can walk in grass and gravel. We're getting hitched and dining al fresco, so please bring a sweater or sunscreen based on the weather.
Hotels:
Please note that transportation will be provided, a bus will be picking up and dropping off. Do not drive drunk.
Gifts:
In lieu of gifts, Jason and Katie has chosen the following charity.
