Our charity (the British Friends of the Hebrew University) is a UK-based fundraising organisation. We raise funds for an Israeli university (the Hebrew University of Jerusalem). For decades our fundraising has been done through 1to1 selling to ultra-rich individuals.
We have recently agreed a strategy of working to build our relationships with other demographics - especially those aged between 21-35 who are highly active on social media. We have few social media assets of our own - but the Hebrew University itself has produced a large library of movies, Ted Talks, etc. The issue is that all of these are branded 'Hebrew University' and so fail to create brand awareness for our organisation.
Our cause and our organisation seem dry and dull to the social media generation. People connect with people, not with institutions.... Unless, of course, institutions adopt a persona that is recognisable and attractive.
The Hebrew University is blessed with a very close association with Albert Einstein. Einstein helped found the University and left his archive, including his Nobel Prize, to the University. Einstein is, of course, an iconic figure who is immediately recognisable around the world.
The project is to create some brand assets built around Einstein which we can use in our social media. Primarily we are looking for a smart cartoon / computer animation style 'model' of Einstein in a number of poses (close up of face, face head on, face tilted to left/right to 'watch' a video, full body shot) and a background into which we can integrate videos/images from Jerusalem - combining their assets and our brand without making it too hard for a viewer to see the talk etc.
