Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a card game that needs two characters presented in 12 high-energy fighting poses (step, sidestep, duck, grab, jump, spin, chop, upper cut, jab, low kick, high kick, throw) and a "prepared" stance (possibly in more detail) for the card backs.
Attached examples of the first "game-testing" cards I used (these were subject to copyright and only for games testing!). These had a generic (same across all characters) pose - but I would like character specific (so I can dispense with the top right inset) and clear.
Characters would be as disparate as possible - for the opening two i am thinking a large sumo "Honda-from-street-fighter" type and an athletic female "Elena-from-street -fighter" type. Happy to discuss!
Poses should also be instantly distinguishable from other poses for the character. If they add a character-specific vibe then even better. (e.g. Honda would "throw" someone or "duck" very differently than Elena would). No weapons.
Final size for 12 "fighting" images is to fit a normal playing card (image size: 80x55mm) so detail is less important than clarity, energy, "pop", and character. Think manga-comic action panel.
The 13th "prepared" stance would be more of a portrait - used on card backs but also as a background on A4-ish size rules. Transparent backgrounds please.
If this goes well other characters may be requested. Further characters would be along the lines of - old drunken kung-fu master, boxer...schoolkid (this is open for discussion!). Nothing too sexy, and also diverse representation!

Is there scope to extend the budget more than it is. I can do this job but it needs more financial incentive.
Joost D.25 Jun 2020Hi Robert,
yes there is.
I have already had lots of responses at this pricepoint though.
I don't need anything really fancy - Were I to sell the game then artwork would likely be binned and replaced by the production company.
However, if I'm really impressed then I'll request 2 further characters - pricepoint can be agreed at that point.
Just put in your best fixed-price offer and I'll consider. I'll be going through the submissions tomorrow.
