Design of Logo, Business Card and Stationery

Design details: I need to have unique high quality logo, business card, letterhead, compliment slips designed.
Content to include: Business Name + Chartered Accountants, Tax & Business Advisers
Ideas for the visual style: Clean, Airy style, colour suggesting Authority, professionalism and easy to print and publish
Extra notes: It is important that the logo is unique and not a variant of previous logo designs. I also need to have full rights to the logo design. I also need logo in all usual formats vector, pdf, jpeg.
The business card design should be double sided.
I attach a copy of existing logo and business card design for indication only. I have been told that the black background does not work well with the existing logo; not sure if this is the printer bias.
It is very important that the colours and fonts work well not only on screen but on print and the web. I know for instance that certain fonts which are too sharp does become smudgy when printing; it is important that this is minismed even when printing from a desktop printer.
