Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: I provide consultancy services to the health and social care sector
Industry: Healthcare
Design details: I would like to create my brand to use on letterheads, business cards and (in future) for my website. I want something creating where I hold my own copyright for the image and can then use it flexibly as my needs evolve and change.
I've seen a few ideas for the logo that have appealed to me, where there is a graphic, my name underneath, and Consultancy underneath that (see below but I don't like the font). Think that might be what I'd like to see.
I'd like the logo to feature on letterhead and business card.
Content to include: Logo, Caroline Poole, Consultancy. my contact details
Ideas for the visual style: I'm open to suggestions but am looking for something that indicates trust and reliability. people who commission me tend to be older more senior people so I'd like the image to appeal to them and be consistent with my offer.
Things to avoid: prefer something classy. not too modern/funky.
Preferred colors: soft colours. something suggesting trust and reliability. nothing too vibrant or girly
Extra notes: Background information to inform the design: my work focusses on providing consultancy, bringing together health and social care organisations to think differently. Our goal is to move away from a paternalistic model of healthcare where we focus on the disease, to a more holistic model where we put the person/family at the heart of what we do. This involves a shift of power away from the doctor to end up with a partnership of equal power. It means breaking down the traditional silo ways of working where we focus on the specific problem to a place where we focus on overall wellbeing and quality of life, as determined by patients themselves. If we do this we have happier, healthier communities who rely less on public services and have more confidence capability and motivation to take more control for themselves, which for vast majority of people is what they want. in my work I challenge existing practices of delivering care, help organisations, teams and staff to understand what "good" looks like, help them compare this to the current status, and to start to understand the changes they need to make to get to the desirable state.
