Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: Pre-owned luxury car dealer
Design details: These business cards are for a pre-owned luxury car dealership. Typical cars regularly sold are nearly new, luxury vehicles such as Mercedes Benz, Audi, Lexus, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover, etc. Unfortunately, however, since we are not a licensed dealer of these brands who can sell them brand new, we cannot feature their brand logos in advertising, letterheads, etc. With that being said, we just need this card to exude that luxury automotive appeal of being classy and modern.
The front of the card should feature:
The company owner's name, Greg Barnic
His title, Pre-Owned Luxury Sales Consultant
The back of the card should feature a silhouette of a luxury looking car. No particular car brand should be displayed. Follow link for style of car that we would like to see: http://bit.ly/1RDxDDg
The preliminary logo that we've been using has been a "G" with a "B" overlapping so that the hook of the G is directly split between the top and bottom loops of the B, essentially forming a third "B". The reason for this is because when you do this the G somewhat then looks like a C, and then the 3 first letters of all of his family members are featured, Greg, Colleen, Brittany and Bridget.. and then of course B is for Barnic as well. Please use your creative expertise and discretion to make this logo look the best it can, in whatever font (or custom font) looks best. Not sure where it should be featured, on the front or back? Please use your best judgement.
These business cards will be printed using Moo.com and we would like them to be done in the "Raised Spot Glass" style. Please follow this link for more information on this style, and the design requirements: https://www.moo.com/us/products/tailored/business-cards.html#raisedSpotGloss
We had been using a deep green and navy blue as our colors. However, we're not sure how "luxe" that feels. If we can see two options, maybe one using deep navy blue and a deep green, and another one that is sharper, maybe just black and white and charcoal? Whatever you think is best.
Please scroll down and take a look at the business card featured in the link above from moo.com that features the name "Sebastian Everett" .. we like the simple, modern, clean lines. Something along these lines that exudes classic luxury would be best for the front of the card.
Content to include: Logo, name, title, contact details (see details above)
Ideas for the visual style: Modern, clean lines, classy, luxurious (see details above)
Things to avoid: Using car brand logos
Preferred colors: (see details above for specific explanation and request)
Urls to draw inspiration from: (URLS included in design details section above)
Extra notes: I am the owner's daughter and I am having these made for him for Christmas. He has been asking for some guidance on making some for the past few months and I've just been so busy. I really want these to be great!!
