Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Industry: Art and Design
Design details: I require a Architect/Architectural Technician to provide fresh ideas into an ongoing project.
The site needs to house 14 residential units - the house types have been designed and the layout has received initial comments from Planning:
I would identify the following as immediate issues:
• Access looks a little contrived relationship to no.38 and what appears be their right of way how would these be defined from one another
• Layout is very car dominated, lack of in curtilage parking to all properties is a concern and font gardens/soft landscaping limited
• 2.5 storey properties is this appropriate, context/relationship to existing properties
• Rear gardens meeting SPD requirements
• Parking to the rear of existing residential gardens impact on their amenity
• Impact upon properties on Rockingham Close which have shallow depth to rear gardens
• Impact upon trees located on the sites boundary
if you feel you can offer fresh ideas please feel free to contact me.
