Book & eBook Layout Designer Needed (Football/Language Learning)

I am looking for an experienced book and eBook layout designer to help me bring together an already-completed content pack into a professionally designed, print-ready and eBook-ready book.

The project is part of Futbol Lingo, a football-specific language learning brand. The content is complete — I now need help with page design, layout, typography, and overall structure.

This is a design and assembly role for ca. 275 pages not a writing or translation job.

What I Already Have (Very Important)

All core content is ready:

✔️ A spreadsheet with all terms, chapters, and structured content

✔️ Images and diagrams for chapters (positions, phases of play, etc.)

✔️ Phrases and idioms written and organised

✔️ Cover images and brand assets

✔️ Clear idea of audience (schools, football fans, language learners)

Your job is to bring everything together into a clean, professional book layout.

What I Need Help With

I am looking for support with:

Page layout and overall book structure

Deciding order of content and flow between chapters

Typography (font choices, sizes, hierarchy)

Designing chapter openers

Layout of:

Vocabulary tables

Diagrams with labels

Short explanatory text

Creating:

Print-ready PDF (A4)

eBook version (ePub / Kindle-friendly layout)

Ensuring the design is:

Clear

Modern

Easy to use in an educational setting

Style & Inspiration

Clean, modern, football-inspired

Educational but not “textbook boring”

Suitable for:

Schools

Teenagers

Adult football fans

Visual clarity is more important than flashy graphics

Deliverables

Print-ready A4 PDF

eBook-ready version (ePub or Kindle format)

Editable source files (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or similar)

Ideal Freelancer

Experience designing books, workbooks, or educational material

Comfortable working with tables, diagrams, and structured content

Strong understanding of typography and hierarchy

This is the first book in a series (multiple language editions planned).
