We are looking for a self-motivated Video Editor to join our Youtube channel as a Part-Time Head of Editing. This role is perfect for an organised and creative editor looking to manage and grow a small team of editors.
The Candidate -
The ideal candidate is proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects and understands what makes for a creative and engaging edit on Youtube. They must understand how to edit and use voiceovers, sound effects and music seamlessly and be able to create and integrate motion graphics, animation and video effects to an exceptional level. The ideal candidate can work efficiently within tight deadlines and can work independently.
Experience in 3D animation (specifically Blender) would be advantageous.
The Duties -
The day-to-day role shall see you delegating briefs to editors, updating the project management system, quality-controlling and scheduling videos. You shall be part of weekly management meetings where there are one-off editing projects for you to take on, training or hiring editors, updating documentation, amending templates and always seeking to improve the overall quality of the content.
The Role -
This a remote contractor position where you will be paid £1,000 - £1,500 per month (DPE). There are no set hours for this part-time role. However, there will be weekly tasks that shall need to be completed. As a team, we firmly believe in output over hours; therefore, the entire team have the autonomy to decide when and how they conduct their tasks.
