Cartoon Tug and Characters

I need someone to help me design a Cartoon Tug. I have the digital image of it of the real life image. The Tug has to have some human featurs such as eyes and a mouth a bit like Thomas the Tank Engine.

To broaden the scope of the 5 characters it will be loosely based on the scottish TV show para handy. The is o be a skipper, 1st mate a woman, Deck hand, cook and an engineer. The ships cat will be obligatory. I have all the characters in my head. The ship will be the star of the show but wont talk.

I will need 5 characters also.

The hull is to be royal blue, the funnel is to be bright red and the cream accommodation is to be yellow
