Animated Logo / Logo Design

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to read this.

We are a new, well funded startup and are looking for a long term relationship with a creative Graphic Artist / Animator who is able to produce high quality still and animated graphics.

In the first instance we are looking for a logo. This logo will need to be simple enough to be embroidered / printed onto clothing but fun enough to be animated and add weight to our video output and be used across multiple applications.

Our initial thoughts on a logo are something along the lines of this (but are always open to suggestions): (Please see attached brief)

We are great fans of steam punk themed gears and cogs so ideas like below certainly appeal: (Please see attached brief)

Ultimately what we want is for the animated logo is the three gears to turn, with the largest “engineers” gear turning anticlockwise to slide a name tag out and clockwise to slide a name tag back in. An example of the name tag fully out might look like below although we don’t want the words in the gears to line up to when the banner is out. They can end in any position necessary. So in short this project is first and foremost for the logo design, with subsequent work to follow on the animation.

Please note:

- We are looking for a long term relationship with a UK based Graphics Artist / Animator and as such we won’t be accepting proposals from outside of the UK. If you are not UK Based, please do not submit a proposal.

- Please do not bid if when you have designed the logo you then cannot animate the logo as required.

- Please only send in your proposal for the design of the logo. Please feel free though to describe how you might go about animating this for inclusion in our videos.
