Information for the business: We design and manufacture metal cutting tools

Design details: This position will need to be able to visualize the steps involved in the manufacturing of a custom carbide cutting tool, and transfer this knowledge to a print via Solidworks 2017. Employee will be given a customer supplied finished part print and he or she will need to reverse engineer the cutting tool needed to produce that part. He or she will be guided by our engineering manager, and by our standard operating procedures for solid models and designs, as well as our existing library of solid models for all tool types: drills, endmills, countersinks, reamers, etc. He or she will then be tasked with modifying one of these existing designs to suite the specific customer requirements.
