Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have written a book which is set in England in 1904. I need around ten black and white line drawings which are spot-the-difference - so two views per drawing. The views are outdoors - one is a beach - and indoors - a stable, a shop, various others. As a poor and starving writer I obviously don't have a lot of money, but I can pay a little to you for doing these, and I am also very happy to sign an agreement giving the artist 10% of whatever I make from my book which, I believe, will sell because it is the first "Murder Mystery" I believe ever to have the clues presented in this way. You will be in at the birth of an exciting project I hope. The book is already written and finished and is 75 thousand words long. The picures need to have various objects in them which will be small, but I only want them drawn simply - we don't need very much shading - only where absolutely necessary to draw the hills or dunes or whatever, just black lines on a white background. I haven't given any sample pictures because I would rather we didn't copy the rather juvenile pictures already on google images - I've had a look. If I could have a tiny sample of just one part of say a beach or a shop with whatever you imagine you would see on a beach - seashells, small boat, anchor, rope, crabs etc - and whatever you would see in a bric-a-brac shop - costumes, cups, toys, gramophone - anything really but don't forget it is set in 1904 so there won't be anything modern or electric. There are certain things which must be in the pictures which relate to the story, but all the other differences you put in will be up to you and will just be "red herrings" for the plot. I imagine the easiest way to do this is scan the first drawing in on the computer then either change it using photoshop or print it out and change it to add or remove the differences. I can pay 50GBP per drawing, but we'll just do one to start with if anybody wants to give it a go for that amount. Thank you. Jon
